Today, my boyfriend of a year told me he is at the point in his life where he is ready to start a family, get married and have a baby. He also casually stated that he wished he could meet someone he could see himself settling down with. FML

Today, my boyfriend of several years, and father of our one-year-old child, finally proposed. He was making idle conversation from twenty feet away and casually said, "By the way, you wanna get hitched?" This is as romantic as my life will ever get. Yay. FML

Today, my boyfriend of 3 years announced that he is not ready for marriage, and won’t be for 'at least' another 2 years. Of course he waited to tell me this 2 days after he had proposed to me in front of hundreds of people, I said yes, and we announced it to all our family members and friends. FML

Today, my boyfriend thinks it’s going so well, we have marriage potential, so before we get any more serious he wanted a promise that I will never want children, and if I think there’s ever a chance I might, tell him soon because we’ll have to split up before we waste each other’s time. FML

Today, after months of trying for a baby and telling me how he wants a family and can't wait to have a kid with me, my boyfriend was relieved when I got a negative home test, saying he's not ready for kids yet. I took another test this morning. I'm pregnant. FML

Oh, babe, maybe he was just testing the waters to see how you felt about something like that. I know woman do that all the time to see what kind of a reaction they get. So many you could casually mention to him how much you'd like something like that, and see if that's the case!

#26, no. #12: Doing the RIGHT THING does not mean having a child with a person of the opposite sex. Doing the right thing is doing something that is beneficial to mankind, which I believe, in today's age, with tons of children looking for homes, would be adoption. It doesn't matter if it's with a straight family or a gay one, all that matters is that they have a loving family and a home with enough food to feed them and an education.
