For the people saying he deserves it, if someone screams, and I mean literally screams like it's life or death, in the car for me to stop, I'm going to hit the brakes because maybe they see something that's about to go wrong that I didn't notice.
Sorry but no. As the driver you are responsible to know what is going around you. The passenger should not be screaming to stop the car for any reason whatsoever if you are vigilant and have been keeping your eyes on the road. By all means, scream at me if I'm busy texting and driving and missed something because I'm an inconsiderate driver and like putting people's lives in danger, but don't scream and expect me to react when there is 0 danger around. Grow up.
I feel so angry at your wife reading this. Why the hell would you endanger someone else's life for the sake of a game? She obviously has a serious problem, she needs to get counselling if she can't even prioritise her own life or the life of her partner over a simple game. Honestly, I don't blame the game, but the people who play it.
I play Pokémon Go still and I would never try to something so asinine on a busy road like that. You can more than likely always grab it at a later date in those scenarios. The least she could have done was tell you to pull to the side of the road or to get off at the next exit and turn back, I’m sorry OP.
You need to have a talk with your wife about priorities. There is no game in the world that's worth endangering someone's life over. If this happens again, I would seriously consider divorce.
Good luck explaining that to your insurance company lol. I really dont get the craze and its sudden popularity that makes people put themselves in harms way, it wasnt "cool" when i played it in high school.
People still play Pokémon go?
You'd be surprised. There's groups for whole towns on Facebook.
Divorce her
This is why I pay no attention to back seat drivers lol. I don't react to those kind of comments - I just pay attention to the road and act accordingly.

Don’t blame Pokémon Go - I play on both my husband’s and I’s phones while he’s driving. I would *maybe* ask him to pull over or turn around to grab a Pokémon if it were incredibly important to the game, but never in a MILLION YEARS would I endanger lives for a Pokémon. You and your wife need to have a serious talk. A very, very serious talk.
