Cats are very trainable. You need to establish yourself as dominant to the cat... Teach it a word or sound that means 'bad' and a word or sound that means 'good' and go from there. The more you act on it, the more you'll be established. I have 3 kittens that would push me around a while back.

They do that when they are mad or want attention. They also do it when their litter box is full and want you to clean it.
