Reason why I'm a dog person: cats seem to pee out their butts... wtf

Cats do this for one of three reasons: they have a UTI, quite common in cats, or their litter box is some ****** up kind of disgusting and needs to be cleaned immeadiately, or they feel insecure in the household. My cat did this for a while when we got a dog, she would pee on the piles of freshly folded laundry.

I've had a cat for 17 years before she died peacefully in her sleep. She was never allowed to jump onto tables or counters. Whenever she did (or was caught out), she would immediately jump off without us having to utter a word. We prepare our food or eat food on tables/counters. People who allow their cats to jump on tables deserve to have stuff peed on or get infected with diseases carried in by their feline friends. Same goes for people who allow their dogs to lick their face thinking they're getting "kisses". Most likely the only thing you are getting is ringworm

Why was it where it can reach it? Assuming it's still a small kitten and can't jump very high.... YDI for having it on the floor....

Cats virtually always prefer to use a litter box to anyplace else...provided it's reasonably clean. Kitty was trying to tell you that his box was too disgusting to use. Get your sister to clean his box out.
