Today, I caught my teenage daughter smoking, and tried calmly explaining to her that it's quite bad for her health. She replied with, "It doesn't harm you if you're under 20." FML

Well if she stopped at 20 and never smoked cigarettes again, which is unlikely because of their addictive nature, the damage to her lungs will most likely correct itself over time... Maybe that's what she meant. There isn't really a way to get your kid to stop smoking but you can make it more difficult for her by not giving her money
