Today, I was lost in a foreign city so I asked a girl for directions. She replied, "Directions? ONE DIRECTION!" and started screaming in my face and jumping around. FML

OP said "foreign city." So, while OP may live in America, I'm guessing this happened somewhere outside the US. American music is universally popular, even the teen bopper variety.

That's pretty darn annoying. Went to a girl in a foreign city asking for directions, and she got happy because she thought you said One Direction. Yeah, one day you are going to look back on this and just laugh.
