Today, I updated my Facebook status as, "Lost all my contacts, need numbers". My mom commented, "Her phone didn't get reset, she just doesn't have any friends." Her comment got 32 likes. FML

I hate people who post that they need people's numbers. You really shouldn't give your number out online, you know there's a site that is dedicated to displaying every phone number ever posted on facebook.

What the **** do you expect? Give a human being a way to talk to people without being able to get hurt physically and take away all nonverbal communication, along with a person's tone of voice, and everybody becomes a bigger asshole than usual.

16- you don't know how old the op is. they could be like 16 and mom could have just been on the profile making sure there isn't any inappropriate content on her fb.

Age has nothing to do with it in my opinion. If the kid is old enough to have a cell phone they're old enough for mommy to not monitor their Facebook. Either way, bitchy comment was bitchy~

for that reason I had two fb and myspace (when I used it) I hate how my mom didn't trust for for no reason so I gave her one....

OP's mum could've put the ol' 'lol jk' in the comment. It's not that hard. And if OP has self esteem issues, this could be devastating for him or her.
