Reverse Uno card

Today, I was driving when I noticed that the guy in front was on the phone. I pulled up next to him, pulled out my phone and I made a gesture that he needed to put his phone away. It was a cop. I got a ticket for driving while on my cell phone. FML

I hope to god that they weren't in an obvious cop car...

You deserve it for not minding your own business.

THANK you, finally someone said it

Unless the car in front if you zig-zagged across lanes and became a danger to rest of you, I really don't see the reason to drive up to his side and gesture. If he was driving right on the speed limit while you were behind him, that means you actually passed it while driving to the side... Seems to me that you were the danger to the rest, but yeah FYL for not thinking about that and getting a ticket for a fake phone call gesture.

Who made you the phone cop OP? YDI for trying to push your beliefs on others...

Push his beliefs on others..? Not using your phone while driving is the *law*, not OP's opinion.

I don't think its the law everywhere. Although obviously it is where OP lives...

#29 beliefs have nothing to do with it, it's dangerous to have your phone out while driving, especially if you are texting...

If you're driving, you should probably MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS. Paying attention to other people is how accidents happen. Proof in point.

How the hell do you not know its a cop OP? Even undercovers still standout

I guess when you're driving maybe you should follow the simple guidelines: keep your eyes on the road, and focus on the space not the objects. If it isn't putting you at risk, you should just let it go.

Don't you know that cops are above the law until they cross a politician? I saw a cop driving and texting, change lanes without signaling, changing lanes in middle of an intersection, and there isn't a damn thing we can do about it.

Busy body. It's not your place to decide what other drivers do. Ydi.

There are activists who use mounted cameras for this kind of work, you're doing it wrong.
