Running on empty

Today, it's been 3 weeks since I was suspended and the fired from my job for falling asleep at the desk. Very unprofessional, even if I was 29 weeks pregnant and sick. It's also been 3 weeks since I've had trouble falling asleep because I'm too used to working nights. FML

Call an attorney. Discrimination against a pregnant employee!

I asked chat GPT about this and it said in the United States, the Pregnancy Discrimination Act (PDA) prohibits employers from discriminating against employees on the basis of pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions. The PDA also requires employers to treat pregnancy-related disabilities the same way as other disabilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Seems like a pretty clear cut violation

Hey.. I understand that that causes you lots of financial stress but it actually sounds like that job was busy slowly killing you. I really hope that you get through OK and one day look back at how much better your life has become. Maybe you should start a youtube channel to document your journey. I even have a name for it: 'Coping'. Good luck!
