Running

Today, I completed my 6-month training program for a track competition this weekend. I went to the park to run anyways because I needed some air after my boyfriend broke up with me. After one lap, my neighbor's 130 lb dog ran across the soccer field and jumped on me to say hi. My leg is broken. FML

I train as well like you do, I run a lot, I recently cracked 2 ribs a day before a karate belt grading, I had to go through it anyway since I paid and it was just pure agony. Obviously this is nothing compared to your FML. The first FML to actually make me say "shit" out loud when reading the last line, ever, I really feel bad for you. Good luck. I won't even bother with #1's comment about suing her neighbour. No need for the shitstorm that was started last time.

seems like that dog was really happy to see you ...

A 130 lbs dog is pretty big, bigger than a lot of women (especially runners). It probably got a running start and bowled her over while she was running around the track. It's easy to believe a dog that size could break a leg like it was nothing. OP, I'm sorry, that really blows. I hope your leg gets better soon.

The fact that your leg got broken, which must be painful as ****, and the fact that your track meet was tomorrow, both suck the mighty suck. Good luck on the recovery. It's easier to recover from muscle atrophy than it is to build new muscle, so the time taken to get back into shape might not be as ludicrously long as some people make it out to be.

#32 LOL. I thought the same thing.

130lbs is not small, that's a big ass dog. Not to mention the fact that it was running towards the OP, dogs can run pretty freakin fast. To OP: That really sucks, I wish you a speedy recovery.

oh and number 34, don't speak what you don't know... is it right for her to sue him? not that I can agree with (dont shit where you sleep) however if she cared to, ironically the case would have a pretty firm leg to stand on (lol sorry) especially a dog that size, no matter where she lives. However, suing for the training would NOT be it, not sure what you even mean by that because it doesn't even make sense. Inflicting PHYSICAL INJURY through negligence would have been the way I went (which you even said, what her neighbor did IS negligence asswipe) but you've already said training (wtf?) and now we all know you're fucktarded.

damn that dog!!! way to ruin your dreams go break that dogs leg
