Rushed

Today, I rushed to the post office to mail an important document for the study abroad program that I'd applied for, which was due in a few days. Just as the envelope slipped out of my hand and into the mail box, I caught a glimpse of the upper right corner where there was supposed to be a stamp. FML

if you were at the post office like you said then just ask one of the employees to get it for you... big deal

I know how you feel, I forgot a stamp with my student finance form and its really close to the deadline so i didn't have time for another form. I had to go to the post office and beg for my letter back, but they couldn't do that, thankfiully on the way home i saw the postman collecting all the letters and persuaded him to put a stamp on it.

Ignore the trolls. You're not dumb for making a simple mistake, especially since you were probably really stressed, in a situation like that, and stress can make it hard to remember things and concentrate. I hope you managed to get it there on time anyway.

blalien I AGREE intotheblue I ALSO AGREE

i saw that, isnt it where you study for tha year on a ship? but yeah, that sucks

So you wait for the next day for them to stick it back in your mailbox, then send it out again. =P If you didn't put a return address, or didn't leave enough time, then YDI. As a fellow member of EAP, I know that they give you plenty of time to get deadlines.

Send another copy of the document, and this time FedEx it! You'll be fine (but yeah - that sucks).
