Today, I bought a box of Fruit Loops. When I got home, I noticed a free prize would be in the box. I sifted through the box, looking for the small toy. It wasn't in there. I don't know what is more sad, the fact that I got ripped off by a children's cereal or that I'm 21 and upset by it. FML

Same thing different taste

Today, I realized that my girlfriend had never said anything about the proposal ring I had put into a box of her Froot Loops. When I hinted it to her, she said that the cereal had expired, so she threw out the box. FML

Today, I was eating cereal while absentmindedly reading the box. I was amused when I found it expires on my birthday. Then I realized it expired on my birthday two years ago. FML

Today, my mom bought me some expensive Japanese candy. I opened it, and saw that each chewy candy was wrapped in a thin, hard to peel off wrapper. After trying to get each wrapper off, I determined they were unopen-able and threw them away. I then read the box, saying the wrappers were edible. FML

Today, I had an Easter Egg Hunt in my backyard for my kids. When they collected all the eggs, they opened them and to their dismay there was no candy inside. When I bought them, I thought they already came with candy. It’s been two hours and my kids won’t stop crying. FML

Today, I learned the horrifying implications of my memory not being what it used to be when I bought a tasty-looking chocolate bar, only to realize upon taking a bite that I'd bought one before and not liked it one bit. FML

Today, I was hosting my kid's birthday party. I had a bunch of small trinkets, so I grabbed the first container I could find to put them in. It wasn’t until I went out and someone yelled, "I’ll take a heavy flow!" that I realized it was an empty tampon box. FML

lol sometimes the prizes are outside the bag of cereal, attached to the inside of the box somewhere. Same thing happened to me, only for me to later find out it was just taped to the side and I'd missed it. :P

I like many other ppl on this site would be well pissed off that i had been ripped off and been denied my free toy. Its misleading and breeds unnecessary mistrust and considering the worlds failing markets is not needed in any way.( sorry i went kinda off topic there). Basically i agree that murdering those bastards who cheated or stole your toy would be a perfectly ok thing and if i was juror on ur trial it would be an instant not guilty on reasons of fairnessand because its just wrong to cheat guys out of there free toys from cereal boxes. Start driving to a state that allows random ppl to buy guns without a license and get killing.
