shouldn't have left ur name tag
Unless you live in Arizona where it's a right to work (or something like that) state you can get them for unlawful firing. i was working at this grocery store where I was polite, never got written up, never had customers angry at me (though a few workers hated me for no apparent reason) and a lady who gave us our checks and then cashed them handed me two one week and they both had my name and everything but since I had been out of work because of an injury I figured it must be for that. Oh no the week before she had handed me someone else's check and I signed and cashed. So then I get fired for this though she gave it to me because I was untrustworthy or some b.s like that. I had no problems then idiot co-workers and some injuries and I'm untrustworthy. The b*tch who gave me the check got suspended for 3 days wow. State law means that I can be fired without an explination just as I can quit without one or something along those lines. Still haven't figured out why my co-workers didn't like me. They threw stuff literally at me and then claimed they handed it to me when there were not only witnesses but people in between us to make that difficult. One tried to get me in trouble by saying I wasn't where I should be but the manager looked up and saw me right where I was supposed to be. Another gave me attitude, expected me to skip breaks and would just give me dirty looks when I didn't do anything.
Don't leave your name tag at work. Duh.
Security cams? And if your boss is the one that makes your schedule how did they nor know you weren't working?? FYL.
This is why I always keep my name tag in my bag.
you're an idiot if you let them do that knowing you weren't working. honestly you deserved it for being so stupid, stand up for yourself!

You can easily prove your innocence. Now if you tried that and still got fired, then it's a FYL.
file a complaint. prove that you weren't on the schedule for that day. then report your coworkers.
