Self serving

Today, my sister, who knows I'm severely afraid of heights, got me tickets to skydive for my birthday. When I reminded her of my fear, she stated that she forgot and should just keep them for herself and her boyfriend. My mom agreed. FML

For her birthday you should buy yourself tickets to Disneyland.

Say you're going to conquer your fear of heights, take tickets, sell tickets, acquire birthday money.

Tell her no thanks you'll figure out something to with them

Are you sure you don´t want to try? I am afraid of heights but flying in a plane is OK for me and I also did a tandem jump when I was a kid and it was awesome. Apart from that I hope you can find something for her birthday that she hates and you love and just keep it.

I used to be scared of heights too, I couldn't even cross a footbridge over a dual carriageway - a 2,000 ft static line skydive solved it! You should totally go for it!

Maybe she actually forgot? Or am I being ridiculous :S

If I was you I would of just kept them, just she couldn't have them. Then sell them to a friend, profit for you. Karma for her!

You should get her something shes totally scared of for HER birthday then say you forgot and go with your friend/lover.
