Self serving

Today, my sister, who knows I'm severely afraid of heights, got me tickets to skydive for my birthday. When I reminded her of my fear, she stated that she forgot and should just keep them for herself and her boyfriend. My mom agreed. FML

For her birthday you should buy yourself tickets to Disneyland.

Say you're going to conquer your fear of heights, take tickets, sell tickets, acquire birthday money.

I wonder if she did that on purpose to still get credit for getting you something for your birthday and being able to keep it herself?

You should show her whose boss by facing your fear and actually do it and jump for it.

She didn't forget she wanted to look like the good sister. for attempting to get you a gift. Kinda rude kinda smart.

Now you get revenge when her birthday comes up.

I've taken several women who are afraid of heights to skydive. they all said it was the next best thing compared to ******.

Dunno bout next best to ******.... but it was pretty darn cool

Resell the tickets and buy something you do want

Take it as your chance to face your fears!

Cool. So what are you buying yourself for her birthday?

In this case, I must say be grateful. At least she remembered your birthday and thought of you on it. Maybe it was the man upstairs trying to give you a chance to concur(sp?) your fear.
