Today, my psycho abstinence-only sex ed teacher claimed condoms give 50% protection at most against pregnancy. I couldn't help but correct her. She apologized for her "mistake", saying, "It's just that we're not ALL sluts, Kara." Now everyone thinks I'm a raging whore. FML

Wow. Report her. Not only is she teaching incorrect information, but she's calling a student a ****. Get her a$$ fired!

Your teacher sounds like a 40 year old ignorant virgin.

That sounds up the alley of bible thumper... You must obey god and do nothing that is selfish EVER or your soul will burn in hell, so have you heard the word of god? No, then to hell you go follower of satan. I am not saying all or most religious people are like that, but some are and ops teacher and your teacher sound that way.

I panicked when I read this because I have the same name as the OP. Then I remembered that I haven't had sex Ed since middle school and that it couldn't be me.

That is not fair - in fact that is bullying and grounds for dismissal. Please report her! This is not fair on you or anyone else in that class. And if the rest of the class think you are sleeping around because of her comment - they need to grow up. That teacher sounds awful. Good luck.

In some states providing inaccurate sexual education is a punishable offense. In others it's the norm. **** shaming is just as common as abstinence only education, sad to hear those words came from a teacher.

Seriously you should report her, i don't think that any teacher no matter what they are teaching has a right to say that to a student or anyone else, it's verbal harassment.

Just say I know you are but what am I

Knowing the correct percentage doesn't make you a ****, but her calling you one makes her an awful teacher. The abstinence-only thing is really outdated- where I come from, schools encourage abstinence but still tell students how to correctly protect themselves. Misinformation plays a huge part in teen pregnancy.

You walked right into that one. It was still rude of her to say. I'd **** her world up because that's very offensive. Like everyone else is saying, file a complaint and get her non- laid ass fired.

Eh, no; she didn't walk right into that one. Offering correct information in class should not get one insulted by the teacher -- ever. (Neither should offering incorrect information.)

Alright my bad. That's something my parents would of said to me though. "Shouldn't hurt your feelings because you put yourself in that situation." Really now? Thanks for supporting me dad. But I understand now, I am sorry if my comment was offensive.

I'm sorry your parents did that to you.
