Today, my psycho abstinence-only sex ed teacher claimed condoms give 50% protection at most against pregnancy. I couldn't help but correct her. She apologized for her "mistake", saying, "It's just that we're not ALL sluts, Kara." Now everyone thinks I'm a raging whore. FML

Wow. Report her. Not only is she teaching incorrect information, but she's calling a student a ****. Get her a$$ fired!

Your teacher sounds like a 40 year old ignorant virgin.

I agree that high school students are too young to be having sex, but high school is also no place for stupid and insane teachers.

don't know where to start with that one - ACLU, local news, etc... Teachers cannot call students names. And remain employed , anyway. BTW let her know condoms don't protect against the Herp, the Syph, or HPV. How's that for slutty?!

that is rude and not right to say to a student.you could call the news station

So much for anonimity ey Kara?

There is a song in the bible that condones premarital sex as long the ppl are in love

what a bitch. teachers aren't allowed to talk to students like that. stand up for yourself and report her

You usually get sex-ed freshman year, when you're fourteen or fifteen. Honestly, if you're not even old enough to drive a car, you really shouldn't be having sex.

Nowhere did the post say that OP is having sex (though it's none of any of our business if she is, especially as it sounds like she knows how to do so safely -- better than the teacher, at any rate). It said that the sex ed "teacher" was giving out incorrect and biased information, and that when OP corrected her on it, she called OP a ****.
