Just a little add in, I'm a cam girl and telling my family was pretty hard. I love my job and I've never felt ashamed, but I was worried my family wouldn't feel the same way. I've unfortunately lost a few loved one because they don't agree with my choices, but if your family truly loves you they should be able to accept it.
