Today, after my wife just cashed in $160,000 in stock options, my Christmas present was two pairs of socks she bought with REI credit. I suppose it’s better than last year’s spatula. FML

Is the money in her name or is it a joint account? If it's the former, she can do whatever she wants with it, but she sounds pretty selfish if she's got that much money just for herself and buys you things you can get yourself for Christmas, well, she sounds like kind of a brat. But if that money is in both your names, you better have a serious talk with her about taking all that money without discussing it with you.
