Today, I went to the doctor and found out that I am infertile. When I called my boyfriend of 2 years, with whom I was hoping to have a future, to talk to him about it, all he said was, "So does this mean I don't have to wear a condom anymore?" FML

He was pretty insensitive if he knew you wanted to have kids. Although the no condom thing is good news.

He's just looking on the positive side

So you dont want to have a future with him because he didnt think negatively and feel sad about it

Adoption!!! Just think: now, if you still want kids, you can adopt one of the thousands of children from China, teen pregnancies and orphanages in general. So basically, instead of further polluting the earth with more people, you can help the people that need it.

My friend received the same news two years ago from four different doctors. She now has a beautiful baby boy that she gave birth to in may.

Atleast he still wants to b with u but srry bout the infertile part ): maybe u could adopt a kid?

I dont see anything wrong with the comment. Sure it sucks that you can have kids but you could always adopt and now you and him get to have more pleasure in bed. Every cloud has a silver lining.

Insensetive, granted. But intrlligent and quick on the uptake. Net balance = even ;)

Aaaaaaaaaaand she said yes.

Why do you still wear condoms after 2 years ??? But FYL, it's too bad ! Bonjour de France ^^

obviously they had no idea she was infertile, and if your still boyfriend/girlfriend its highly unlikely you want to get pregnant

Sorry to hear that you are infertile. Your boyfriend probably hadn't of really processed what you said. He also might not be thinking about kids either.
