Today, I had to kick my own father out of my house after he started attacking my wife for breastfeeding our newborn son in the living room. All the way to the door, he ranted that, "You don't see me whipping my dick out and pissing in front of everyone, do you?" FML

All if you are idiots. What the dad was saying is it is inappropriate to breast feed in front of everyone because her boobs should only be seen by the husband. And he wouldn't pull out his dick because only his wife needs to see that. Dumbfucks

just for every breastfeeding mamma's information: H&M has wonderful nursing tops that keep you decent. not a big selection, but it's what I've been living in for the past 7 months and in public no one ever notices by baby is being fed :)

My little sister breastfeeds in the living room no matter who is there because it's her house. The only place that is public about ones property is their front yard and even then people shouldn't get all offended and butt-hurt over something so natural, what the hell is wrong with people? Wow. Just wow. In public, I just ask that a cover be used. But in your own house, not my business. My guess is your wife was still not just throwing it out there OP. Regardless, sorry your dad is a jerk :(

Most of you have obviously never had a new born let alone breastfed! It can be incredibly lonely and depressing constantly being by yourself and not being able to talk to anyone for some times 40 minutes at a time while feeding! Let her have as much time as she can with her loved ones and if they're bothered by it they obviously don't care or understand what she's doing for her child.

It's her house, she shouldn't be expected to go to another room to feed her baby. You did the right thing, op. Your father could've handled that better.

First off for everyone else who commented. Its her house so she shouldn't hAve to pick a spot if dad didn't like it he should have left the room.. GREAT JOB for standing up for her
