"The police was called?" Your student visa is more in jeopardy because of your grammar than a minor accident.
In many languages 'the Police' is singular, so it's just not knowing that it's plural in English. OP probably knows the difference between was and were
If it’s a minor traffic accident, your visa shouldn’t be revoked, but you don’t describe what your were actually doing very well. You’d have to explain it to immigration but you’ll get by If you have to appear in court rather than just pay a ticket though, it sounds like there’s more to it: you were drunk or high, missing insurance or driving recklessly. Were you in the wrong lane opposing traffic? If you were stupid enough with what you did, you may well deserve it.
