Dude I work at Best Buy. We have SEVERAL cameras everywhere. Remember about what time it happened and what date and go to Lost Pervention. (the person in front of store who greets you with the yellow shirt) and tell them what happened. They should direct you to someone who can help you find the person who took your stuff. Good Luck
Were you carrying CASH? Because if you were, you need to learn to deposit your money safely. If it was a card, no big deal, just call up and cancel the card and alert them to the problem. #41-Because unless it was cash he was carrying, losing it all isn't a big deal, just a major hassle.
YDI, how the feck did you manage to drop your wallet? Mine stays firmly in my pocket, and I have all cash on my card except a little. Moron, YDI.
YDI for having so much money in cash
Couldn't you just check the security cameras and stuff? Assuming you lost your wallet in the store anyway.
People are assuming it's cash because although stolen cards are a hassle, you won't actually lose any money and still can buy the TV. Especially if you put the cash on debit, in which case you can just go home and get your checkbook if you don't have it with you.
I did that once during college when I saved up for a Macbook. I saved up like 1200 in cash, went into CompUSA and bought one. I can't imagine the feeling of losing large amount of cash, especially if you saved for it. If it's cards, it would still be very harsh simply because you're all excitied about getting your TV, then now you have to spend a day calling up cards, and gettin new ones (which would take a few weeks to get back).
Like someone said before, if it's a debit card he lost it isn't just a "big hassle" cuz it'll come right out of his account and most banks don't replace that. You might say he'd need a pin number but there are plenty of places where you can use a debit card like a credit card and thus not need a pin number, but the money will still come right out of your account. So basically, this just plain sucks for this person.
Dude, yesterday I found some guys wallet in the parking lot of a best buy. He had ton of money, so I took it all. Then I gave the idiot his wallet back and he didn't even check! And today I used it to buy a new 42" TV!

So after losing your wallet you waited until you were at the cashier to check if all your cash was still there??
Uh... do you mean you were carrying all that money in cash? If it was a card then it wouldn't matter, he couldn't use it...
