Wow, just Wow. So da husband is a dick and da wife is a fatty. Regardless of da situation, da hubby probably shouldn't have said she was fat because of da extreme sensitivity women have for their figure, which they would probably blame on men in da first place. However, I do believe some of da people that commented here got it right. if your wifey or hubby got too much chunk comin out their sides, or front, or back, you should say something, just don't say how turned off you are by them cuz that will possibly just lead to other things. I know that there are other reasons that the stomach could be a turn-off, but I'm going to go ahead and assume it's a weight issue for this post. A lot of people are saying that marriage is for better or for worse, that the husband should love his wife regardless of her weight, etc. Where in the FML does it say that the husband doesn't love her anymore? He's just not turned on by watching his wife strut around in lingerie that shows off her unattractive stomach. Personally, I don't think anyone should be expected to have sex with someone they don't find attractive. Was it a mean comment from the husband? Yes. There are definitely better ways to bring up the fact that the wife may need to lose weight. But the fact remains that it's hard to have sex when you're not turned on at all. I've seen couples who were fit and attractive let themselves go after marriage. Putting a ring on it doesn't mean you have a free pass to stop going to the gym and start eating chips until you've gained 50 pounds. If they're both fine with it and are still attracted to each other, whatever. But like some other posters have said, you should work out and stay attractive for your spouse, and they should return the favor. Also, I'm glad that society has realized that not all women should be anorexic/stick-thin/look like Kate Moss. It's unhealthy. But you know what's also unhealthy? OBESITY. There's nothing wrong with curves, but I think it's wrong to tell an obese woman that she's "beautiful the way she is."
