Today, I had my first job interview after three years of unemployment. I was so happy that I broke down into tears the moment I saw the interviewer. Great first impression. FML

don't let that discourage you! job hunting is hard, I was unemployed for 3 months and drove down in tears when I found out I got this job and I'm a security officer... keep the hope alive and pray

Yeah, how DARE an unemployed person own an iPhone? It's not like they could've received it as a Christmas or birthday gift or anything. Plus if anybody needs a cell phone it's an unemployed person - how else will they receive potential phone calls for job interviews? Not everybody has a computer and not everyone wants to sit by their land line phone all day waiting for calls. Plus it could be an older generation iPhone and those go pretty cheap these days. So yes, an unemployed person owning an iPhone isn't exactly far-fetched.
