Today, during a text conversation with a girl I've been trying to get with, she complained about how crummy of a day she was having. I told her it couldn't be as bad as she thought, and she would probably get it over it soon. Then she told me she had found out her cousin had been murdered. FML

Today, I ran into one of my exes, and she seemed straight up shocked to see me. She said, "OH MY GOD! You're alive?" like I was a suicide risk or something. Nope, turns out her last 3 boyfriends before me were so unstable that when she cheated on them, they killed themselves shortly after. FML

No, it's not his fault. Most conversation that start out with the girl or guy saying: "It ended really badly..." always makes you think -cheat- or something along those lines.

Agreed with a good portion of the posters here, this one is totally *not* your fault. She should have just said her last boyfriend died instead of a misleading line like that.
