Today, I set up a mouse trap to kill the rodent plaguing my kitchen. While lying in bed, I heard an unmistakable snap, and ran to see what I'd caught. The mouse trap was missing. I now have a large, angry, and possibly dying animal running around my house. FML

Same thing different taste

Today, I set a trap to catch a mouse that ran across my foot. Not only did the trap shut on my finger twice, but I watched the mouse run over the trap without it snapping shut. I guess I have a new roommate. FML

Today, I placed sticky mouse traps in my bedroom. it's now 12:05 a.m. and I've successfully caught a mouse. Too bad I'm scared of them and my husband is passed out asleep. I now get to listen to a mouse squeak all night and have to be up in 4 hours. FML

Today, I failed a basic intelligence test when the mouse trap I was setting up snapped on my thumb. Later, when I checked the trap I saw that the mouse had managed to lick all the bait off the trap without being caught, I have a sore thumb and was outsmarted by a rodent. FML

Today, I woke up to what sounded like twigs snapping. Turns out it was the skull of a live mouse being crushed in my cat's jaws. FML

Today, I found a mouse stuck in a glue trap at work. I had to take it home to get it off with oil, and then I released it outside. Twenty minutes later, the cat returned it to me, dead. After that, the dogs dug it up where I buried it. Sorry, mouse. FML

Today, I had mice in the house and had to kill them with mousetraps. I pulled a trap out with a dead mouse and my four year-old son saw. Mice are his favorite animals, and now he won’t speak to me. FML

Today, my cat brought home a bloody, barely-living mouse. The thing managed to escape and dragged itself into a crack in the wall, where it must have died. The only way to get it out before it starts to stink up the place is by demolishing the wall. FML

Today, I made my way to bed around 4am after spending all night hanging out with my family. When I got to my bed, I started to clear a spot to lay down. Almost immediately, my hand touched something furry and cold and, fearing the worst, I turned the light on. Turns out my cat left me a half eaten rodent. FML

I never said I set up the trap. We were visiting in my parents' house, and they forgot to inform me about the mouse trap, and my Dobie accidentally stepped in it. 8( I'll never forget that painful yowling...

YDI mice are creatures of the earth and should not b killed for being hungry it's because of us that they are hungry. weve put houses cars everything up all over the place and mice r stupid they just smell food and go after it. The fact that they pass a big open door dosnt matter to them they don't lnow what it is there just hungry. So F U a million times. the mouse isn't the discusting creature U ARE

You're right. We should let the mouse/rat multiply, so all OP's groceries get eaten, and everything pooped on. Not to mention dozens of mice/rats running around all over OP's belongings. AND possible spreading diseases to OP or OP's pets if he/she has any.

it's not just about the food you ignoramus. Mice carry diseases and their feces can make you sick. Most people value their own life and health over that of an animal that'll probably be dead in a year anyways.
