Let me get this straight - Who or what forced you to “walk through 10 feet of sprinklers” on your way to work? Did you not see the sprinklers ahead of you? Were you prevented from walking over away from them? Is it normal for people where you work to come in soaking wet? I am trying to understand the situation. I understand that it’s uncomfortable to be treated like a dish of meat by some cop using an excuse to get a closer look at you. But I cannot understand why you walked though the sprinklers on your way to work.

I'm assuming they got half way across a lawn when the sprinklers turned on. Now the only way would be either keep going or go back, and either way they'd get soaked.
