Today, I got to listen to my boss lecture me about professional dress and subtly insinuate that my being on the heavier side top-wise with all the men in the office could be a problem. I've worn turtle necks for the whole two months I've been working there. FML

Today, I got called into my manager’s office for wearing “leggings.” They weren’t leggings, they were work pants with a straight leg. I said to her that the other girls wear them in the office. She told me, "But they have a slim figure, you're on the pudgier side and it looks bad. No offense.” FML

Today, my boss wanted to talk to me. Nervous, I went to her office. Turns out that my coworkers talk about me behind my back, and my boss is worried about me. Apparently, I lie about my bad knees, and me wearing black leggings is horrible. Most of them wear sweatpants on a daily basis. FML

Today, I don’t know what to do, my (female) boss just told me that in order to comply with our dress code, I now have to go and tell most of our female employees to cover up their visible cleavage. I'm not the most confident around women, how am I supposed to discuss their boobs with them? FML

If there's someone to report it to, definitely do so, but that probably won't change the office behavior. Turtlenecks kind of emphasize boob size even though they hide cleavage. I know of a woman who tried to hide her boobs the same way & ended up getting fired for it (she worked for a very conservative church). I'd recommend a simple tshirt or button-up that has a neckline about an inch below your collarbone, and maybe a baggier waist to lessen the contrast.

I would like to read a follow-up on this one especially I would like to know if the boss is (fe)male. OP also wrote that her boss said that 'it COULD be a problem' so her boss lectured her about something that isn't a problem (yet). My opinion: if the boss didn't say that something really has to change about your appearance (you can also check the work agreement for that) then don't change a thing. If the topic comes up again, just ask the boss what (s)he expects from you.

Tell your boss that they all need to learn to control themselves. What more can you do if you are already wearing turtlenecks?! Guess you need a boob reduction because grown ass men can't control themselves.
