#51 - You are correct, but this is why people shouldn't be sniveling cowards who hide in their houses and look for something amiss so they can place an anonymous call. If you really think something is wrong, get your lazy butt out there and find out. After all, it DID take the cops half an hour. If it was my child, I'd be pretty livid that someone saw the person and didn't try to intervene.

#47, my point was it's an extreme measure to arrest or detain everyone for doing the most mundane of things like, oh, walking down the street because some agoraphobic thought you looked weird on the premise that, if we do that to everyone, we might prevent a child molestation.
