Suspicious mind

By Anonymous - This FML is from back in 2016 but it's good stuff - United States - Youngsville

Today, after two weeks of intense detective work, I found out my wife isn't cheating on me after all. She really has just been going out and playing table tennis with her friend like she said. Who the hell even plays table tennis? FML

I'm sorry to read that, OP. Perhaps you two could see a counselor until she's comfortable enough to stop playing table tennis and start cheating on you.

So is the FML that your wife plays table tennis or...

Maybe she should put some divorce papers on the table... Tennis.

How did this take you 2 weeks to find out she was telling the truth? Were the first 10 times you caught her playing not enough evidence for you?

So she told you the truth, and you immediately jumped to she's a lying cheater based solely on the fact that her activity of choice is table tennis? Someone not only has trust issues, but is pretty judgmental too, I feel sorry for your wife. Table tennis is fun, it's really not that surprising she likes it, it has a pretty big following.

So just because her hobby (somehow) seems weird to you, that means she's lying? You need to grow up and learn to trust, dude.

Have you ever played table tennis? It's such a fun game to play. C'mon bruh

None of this is a fml aside from the wasted time you lost during the "investigation". Be glad she in at cheating on you, you fuckboi

You sound like a tool. I'm sorry but not everyone loves "football" when it isn't even played by feet. I honestly have nothing against American football but people like you who think these sports are superior than others are the ones who need a freakin lesson.

I don't think you understood the point of this FML...it's not about sports.

Also it'd be pretty hard to play "American football" (or CFL, for that matter) without using your feet. Though imagine those bodies if everyone ran on and punted with their hands... it'd be like everyone skipped leg day.

It kinda is, op finds table tennis to be a bad or boring sport apparently so he thought she was cheating, apparently that's enough to suspect. Because apparently his thoughts on sports is everyone's choice.

I'm just trying to figure out where you found football to come into play here...talk about judgemental. Sheesh.

What does intense detective stuff entail? Did the OP pull a breaking bad and put a tracker on her car? Does he have a guy at the rec center feeding him info? Did you interrogate her Prisoner style? His poor wife is going to be the main story on national news in about a week when they find her.

Soooo you're Fml is that your wife is faithful and tells the truth?

Maybe it is they have no trust or faith in their partner and wasted their time. Also they seem like a snob, with the last sentence in the FML
