do you guys not have comparison websites in the u.s ? Always threaten to leave, they need your money.

Don't you just LOVE sales people? Sometimes you have to bite your tongue, say no and no again and threaten to drop the policy all together if they cannot help you.

my fiancee did that same thing. So to fix it he switched to a different company. when he made the "break up" call explaining the new company was cheaper, they offered a discount. try it, it might work :)

Time to shop for a new insurance company. I had the same issue once. I don't use my car nearly as much as I used to so I called the insurance company thinking my rate would go down for being used less. Instead it went up because it was reclassified as a "pleasure vehicle". Then I went insurance shopping and found I was paying way too much with the old company.
