Today, my daughter asked me for permission to go to her boyfriend’s studio apartment without any supervision to “watch a soccer game and eat pizza.” I said no because she thinks I was born yesterday. She proceeded to throw a tantrum and told me that she hopes my breast cancer kills me. FML

I am assuming daughter is in her late teens. Mom you need to realize that most teens are sexually active now, regardless of if they admit it or not. You would be better off making sure daughter has access to effective birth control and uses it every single time than trying to prevent sexual activity… On the other side while daughter was understandably upset, for her to wish you to die is just God awful! … I am a cancer survivor myself - It’s a very difficult time and you have my sympathy.

My daughter said something equally horrible to a daycare teacher. She was 5 and got grounded for a month. She never did it again. If this girl is old enough to have a boyfriend, she’d old enough to know better than to say that shit.

She's definitely an asshole for what she said, I would hope a teen with a boyfriend who is living in his own apartment is at least 17 or 18, and in that case, if you haven't taught her to be smart by now, it's too late and like someone else said, she's likely already having sex anyway if that's your concern.
