I had my first two kids for the same stupid reason. And the first one (mother) didn't stick around, of course, and the second one did, but I changed my mind about wanting her to (after getting to know her better). Listen - people do really stupid things in relationships. And they don't always understand why, at the time. Denial is very powerful. Later, when they are older, maybe wiser, they realize why they did these crazy things. In fact, I'd guess that most people on this planet are born out of some form of insecurity, or lack of self-confidence. The rest, probably out of just pure horniness. But when all is said and done - I do love my children, very much, they are very precious to me. No matter how stupid and manipulative it was (both me, and their mothers) to have them in the first place. I treasure every minute I get to spend with them. I love them dearly, and that is a choice I made, they're great people, and I'm proud of them. (not of myself, but of them). So, you could be a product of rape, an accident, a broken condom, manipulation, whatever. That doesn't change the fact that, maybe once your parents got to know you as a person, that they really do love you. And even if that's not the case - there's nothing wrong with having parents who are clueless dorks either. You find your own value in this world. We all must.

What's up with all these pathetic sympathy comments? "Aw, poor OP ): it's going to be okay!" If OP is really soo upset and hurt over this she wouldn't have been like "Oh! Let me go post this on fmylife.com!" If someone is in a truly upsetting situation they're not going to want to go and post it on the internet. Obviously she's just some attention seeking kid.
