You totally deserve it. Your boyfriend is so right. What a dumb, self-warped question.
What a ******* nutjob. He needs to lay off the roids
Hey, I honestly think that was stupid question to ever ask your boyfriend. It just shows you need someone's glorification to make you happy. Nobody wants a girl to ask a question like that. Now he should've never went that far as to flip out on you like that but hey, I'm willing to bet that it's not you first time asking him for praise. If you have a good boyfriend, he'll tell you on his own. Next time, just tell him your feeling down. He should find some way to make you feel better.

Please, please, for your own good, get rid of him! My boyfriend and I are in a very strong relationship (going on 2 years!) and if I were to send him the same text, he would realize that I was feeling down and tell me why he loves me. If you do this sort of thing often, he should realize that something is up and respond appropriately, not kick you further down. Also, I agree with #12 - if you feel like this a lot, get some help. From personal experience, I promise it's worth it. :)
YDI. Don't waste people's time with questions that are impossible to answer. There are ways to cheer yourself up without pathetically fishing for complements.
Fishing for compliments is annoying but anyone who would reply to their significant other's text messages with something that callous probably shouldn't be in that relationship in the first place. I could see being irritated but, jeez, that's just unnecessary.
my girlfriend and I always tell each other why we love the other one all the time. we even send emails at work and leave notes for each other all the time. we've been together for 5 years+. you guys are stupid. sometimes couples like to be cute and tell each other all the reasons why. my girlfriend has asked that and when she did ask, I told her. you guys need to shut up and be a little more sympathetic. sometimes its nice to be cute with your boy/girl.

You picked the wrong boyfriend. Though, if you just texted and said "Why do you love me?" without any explanation, that would piss anyone off.
well clearly you fish for compliments all the time
