I had the same thing happen to me back in the early 2000's. I'd go get coffee during my breaks at work, to help get through long hospital shifts. The lady replaced my cream, with skim milk. She thought she was helping me lose weight. In reality, she was simply replacing my 0 carb per shift, with 20 carbs per shift. Those extra carbs were preventing me from getting in ketosis, and was actually preventing my weight loss. I was furious when I found out. Not as furious as my diabetic coworker was though.
