That hurts, BTW

Today, I got surgery on one of my hands. I opted for a local anesthetic instead of being put all the way under. I soon discovered my hand hadn't gone completely numb when the doctor started slicing into the finger that needed operating on. FML

ALWAYS go for the big drugs.

Ouch. When I had my surgery on my hand, they gave me too much anesthetic, I passed out for like six hours man.

ouch could you at least speak?

lolol I know how you feel. got surgery on my foot and they put a local anesthetic. I felt the blade slice. I always opt for being put under nowadays x.x

That's totally your fault. You should've known that you should've gone under completely. You deserved it.

I had carpal tunnel release surgery on my hand and a similar thing happened, so I have literally felt OP's pain! Oh and about local anaesthetics; they present less risk than a general anaesthetic and reduce the hospital stay. It also enabled me to watch my surgery :)

How could it possibly be his fault?! That sucks man. I dont know what it means getting local. English is my second language. But it sounds so painfull. Can't you sue them?

should have gone for the big drugs :D at least it was only one cut in your finger though lol
