Today, I was working when an older lady came up to buy a coffee. Her son cried for a cup of whipped cream to snack on. She shook her head, silently telling me to say no. I said we were out. The mother took her drink and said, "I'm sorry honey, but the mean man said you couldn't have any." FML

Today, at the café I work at, I was yelled at by a woman because the drinks and food she ordered were "taking too long". Before I had the chance to get a word in, she stormed out and said she would never come back. I didn't get the chance to inform her that she hadn't ordered yet. FML

Today, at work, I put on a smile and went to take an elderly gentleman's order. He looked at me, asked if I'd stick a finger in his sweet tea to make it sweeter, then complained that it was a shame I wasn't "on the menu". FML

Today, at work, a customer came in and ordered a "Butterbeer Frappuccino." When I said we serve no such thing, she yelled at me for "lying" to her, saying she knew about our "secret menu." She ended up complaining to my manager and demanded that he fire me. FML

Today, while working the drive-through, a woman ordered a large coffee with four creams. I handed her the coffee, and she took a sip. She then hurled it at me, screaming, "I said four creams, not five!" and sped off, leaving me drenched in hot coffee. FML

Weird old lady of the day

Today, I was at the supermarket when an elderly lady asked if I'd grab some coffee for her from a high shelf. The moment I took my hands off my almost-full shopping cart, she made off with it. I ended up getting thrown out by security after she claimed I was trying to steal it from her. FML

Today, my mom was "that" customer at the local drive-thru. She slipped into attention whore mode and bitched the guy out for not giving us extra fries. He said she didn't ask for any, which was true. Instead of apologizing, she swore at him and floored the gas, sending our drinks spilling all over me. FML

wow sounds like one of those overbearing mothers that screw up their sons by spoiling them, making it impossible for any woman to be good enough for him when he grows up. a normal mom has the backbone to say no to her child.

Haven't you ever heard of the "good cop, bad cop" routine? The mom gets to be the "good cop" by telling her son he can have whipped cream and made the OP the "bad cop" by denying the little brat. The etiquette of "god cop, bad cop" requires that after the stunt is pulled, the "good cop" must lick a dollop of whipped cream from wherever the "bad cop" puts it. So, where did you put it, OP?

The idiot probably blew his opportunity and put in on a biscotto and handed it to the woman. Maybe she was the opposite of a MILF, aka a MIWFWYD (a mother I wouldn't **** with your dick, an acronym that is unpronounceable to all but the Welsh) and in that case, he made the right call!

I'm a parent and honestly some people just can't handle being with kids... if you don't have enough balls to tell your own flesh and blood No in my eyes you are just pathetic... I don't think you did the wrong thing but honestly I would have just acted like I didn't see what she motioned to do.
