The eyeball zone

Today, I noticed that in my cover letter I wrote, "I also have an eye.", instead of, "I also have an eye for detail", and I have been sending it out for the past few weeks. No wonder I haven't gotten any replies. FML

hmm...meaning you really don't have an eye for detail...but you do have eyes. so, what you sent out is basically correct. :)

At least the irony's not readily apparent from her omission alone...

Oh no worries, my resume had OBJECTIVE up at the top with two letters missing for months... course I got my current job off it... seems they didn't notice either =) Course also, YDI for it being your cover letter. I write a unique one for every job I apply to.

at least you didn't end up lying, despite your best attempt...

I don't get this. Wouldn't an eye be considered an important qualification for most jobs? Unless the companies you applied for jobs with are being nitpicky and want someone with two.
