The good old days

By FBfail - This FML is from back in 2010 but it's good stuff - United Kingdom

Today, I saw my boyfriend of two years had joined a group on Facebook called "Guys who are proud of their girlfriends". I smiled and was about to like it when I noticed a comment below from a girl saying, "Awww thanks babe :) xxxx." FML

This is a joke. Some chick posted something like this she said she comment his status with "Awwww thanks babe :)". And he said "Not you" so yeah total prank.

"Today, my boyfriend joined a group called 'Guys Who Are Proud of Their Girlfriends.' Some girl commented on that page saying 'ohh thanks, babe xoxo.' After slashing his tires, keying his car, throwing bricks in his windows, and setting the rest of his house on fire for what I thought was cheating, the girl responded, saying 'sorry, wrong guy.' My boyfriend won't hear me out. FML" Girls need to calm down about cheating.

hope it was a joke if it was laugh it off if not fyl and fhu (**** him up)

For all these people saying "it was a joke" "have a sense of humor" "i joke like that with my guy friends all the time" Hell No. if it's a guy to another guy, it's a joke; if it's a guy posting something like this and he's single (but that wouldn't make sense) it's a joke. If a girl responds with something like "Awh, that's cute" or maybe the girl was a mutual close friend of theirs, it's okay. but this is specifically about his girlfriend, and if I saw something like that on my boyfriend of two year's page, i'd be upset too. it's disrespectful for it to be a "joke" if the girl knew they were in a relationship, and if by 2 years people don't know you're a couple, then REALLY fml. Atleast the asshole got caught, and FYL OP

EXACTLY! I'll make jokes like this on my guy friends' statuses ONLY IF I am mutual friends with the girlfriends and even then there'd be a side comment like [[lol jk -insert girlfriends name here-]] but not on a group join like this, it would just be along the lines of 'aw that's so sweet' or just no comment at all and just a like. It's rude and disrespectful to the actual girlfriend to comment like that, and will do nothing but raise suspicion and form a rift in the friendships. And I agree with #131, the girl would probably be called a **** if the the situation was reversed. But because girls apparently don't know where the friend and girlfriend lines are that shouldn't be crossed, everyone's going to assume the OP's boyfriend's 'friend' is just joking. Because those kinds of jokes totally make it easier to find out if your S.O. is actually cheating on you when his real other girlfriend comments like that.

you know it might just be some girl sayin that. I see girls sayin they love there Bf n be just jokingly put thanks boo as a joke. Don't Take Facebook Seriously!!

it just facebook. im sure the girl was joking

im sowwee oP. thats not cool, i would question his ass.

Really? You'd question his ass? I can just picture that now. o_0

At least you finally found out. If you're smart, you'll dump him. If not? We'll be awaiting more FMLs from your sorry self.
