They probably just forgat, everyone in my dorm knows I'm allergic to dairy products, yet they often offer me food with dairy in it, no big deal...
How does everyone keep thinking they must have done this on purpose? I have a severe allergy to mushrooms, but even my own mother sometimes forgets... Why is this completely inconceivable for some people?
If something like that happens again, cheerfully thank them the next time you see them and tell them you gave the cookies to homeless people (which, if true, would make it even more awesome). Kill 'em with kindness.
Use this knowledge against them. Throw the cookies out, tell then they were delicious. Watch them look confused. Get then to admit what they had done.
