Today, and for almost 6 years, my wife and I have had issues fighting when we’re drunk. I’ve always gotten/accepted the blame. I quit drinking to try and better our marriage. Now she wants a divorce. FML

Today, I accidentally let slip to my mom that I hardly remember the graduation party she threw me four years ago. She proceeded to verbally assault me for forgetting the special occasion. I had a brain complication two years ago which resulted in some memory loss. Apparently, it's my fault. FML

Today, I went to a bar with a close friend. She got drunk and was feeling sick, so I carried her to my car to take her to her house. Some stranger accused me of drugging her and tackled me with her in my arms. She threw up on me, and he took off running without an apology. FML

Today my mother met my in-laws for the first time. She had been an alcoholic and had us sent to foster care 15 years ago. My husband told his parents this behind my back a while ago. When they asked her about it, she denied everything. His entire family now thinks I lie for attention. FML

Today, I helped a 6 year-old boy who was left alone at a store to get back home. The kid's parents were grateful, but my mother cussed me out and called me stupid for helping the kid. No good dead goes unpunished. FML

Today, I bumped into a lady, apologised and tried to continue on. She screamed assault and tried to citizen's arrest me. I've got better things to do, so I ignored her but she latched onto my leg like a toddler. I ended up dragging this insane woman up the street until she finally let go. FML

Her kids were put in foster care 6 years ago. She got them back a year later after she sobered up. The kids are now 18 and 21,and as far as I know moved out long ago to different cities / towns. Somehow she believes I reported her abusive behaviour 6 years ago.

She did get help, 6 years ago. That's how she got her kids back. Now she's off the wagon again and it's my fault she lost the kids 6 years ago. Last I heard, once she got them back everything was just peachy. 3 or 4 years ago I ran into them at Walmart. They were all happy to be back together again. She was clean and sober, and friendly. The other day she was drunk and mad. Exercising her alcoholic muscles. Cops just threw her in jail to sober up over night.

Not this time. I told the cops I just don't want to deal with her. If she returns, then I'll be pressing charges. This happened about 2 weeks ago. Never seen her again. Been watching my back when I am outside though. She tried to sneak up on me while I was mowing the lawn.
