Today, a customer called the restaurant I work at to ask if our coupons were always valid, or if they expired on the expiration date printed on them. FML

Actually totally valid. Loads of places accept coupons after their expiration date.

there is no such thing as a stupid question... there are only stupid peoples lol

I see why he asked, where I live the bed bath and beyond will accept all coupons even if their expired. You could have a coupon from 2006 and they would let you use it

Actually, a lot of people will accept expired coupons. It just depends on the establishment and corporate policies.

Chuck-E-Cheeses and Chili's accepts expired coupons from my experience, so that's a valid question

I work in retail and trust me I get all sorts of really STUPID questions but to be fair that's not bad. I know a lot of places restaurants and regular places like bed bath and beyond will take expired coupons. And even grocery stores will take an expired coupon up to a certain point. Mine does anyway.

it's a valid question, at my work we accept expired coupons.

There are plenty of places that accept expired coupons.

This is actually a valid question. Most places still accept expired coupons.

State of CA law says coupons do not expire regardless of what's printed on the coupon.
