Today, a girl I really liked mentioned she's home alone and that she was really really lonely. She offered for me to come over and watch a few movies with her, and as I got prepared to leave she sent me a text saying " can you pick up my friend Spencer? " FML

Today, I was staying over at a friend's house for the weekend. Some girl he knows invited us over to watch a movie. She spent the whole time ignoring the movie and clinging to him, trying to get him to stay, and completely ignoring the fact that I was there and that he was basically my ride. I felt like walking home. FML

When I asked if I should wait for her, she told me to go and "watch some shit on Netflix, I don't really care" without looking away from the laptop. FML

Yeah, I just wouldn't go. I dunno. If you go over and pretend you didn't get the text, or if you say no, it'll ruin everything and you'll just feel weird there. In a similar situation I was in, a girl just thought I was taking things faster than she wanted so she wanted someone there. We talked about it later and came to an understanding, but it just so happened that her friend was a guy. There is the possibility that she likes him though... I dunno
