Today, a girl I've been talking to online for a while asked me if I wanted to meet her in person. Two hours of driving later, I end up at her house. When she opened the door, she screamed and called the cops on me. While detained, she called my phone asking why I never showed up today. FML

video chat is a good thing before meeting people off the Internet...

Whilst I think this sounds a lot like you used a fake pic and therefore deserved it... does nobody else find it a bit weird that she opened the door, saw who she thought was a completely random person, and screamed? Is that her usual reaction to someone unfamiliar knocking on her door? Bitch is crazy.

Why did I just automatically assume the girl turned out to be underage?

If you're going to meet someone from online, it should at least be in a public area first...

Hahaha. Omg. That's funny. Is she stupid or what.

While detained you wouldn't have personal property, they go as far as taking shoes belts and even body piercings. You wouldnt have a cell phone in your cell.

Not always true. I've been "detained" several times without being arrested (I have 2 spiteful ex-wives). "Detaining" ppl doesn't even mean they MUST be handcuffed, just not allowed to leave for questioning. They can't seize your personal belongings unless it's considered dangerous or contraband without the arrest being made. OP didn't say he was arrested.

At least she didn't say she was doing laundry and to help yourself to the milk and cookies on the table...

She called the cops just because you knocked on the door?

Did Chris Hansen from Dateline NBC's show 'How to Catch a predator' meet you at the end of the driveway?

Are you sure you went to the right place?!

Your just lucky you didn't end up having to " put the lotion on ur skin" ... That cyber hookup shit is for the birds.
