My nephew did that at his school, once. He's in kindergarten.
People do that on CS:GO when you won't give them the AWP you picked up off a dead body.
That happened to me in college. In Biology, we worked with whoever we sat next to. I didn't like the person next to where I was sitting, he wasn't very helpful so I sat somewhere else. This girl just stood behind me the whole time until the professor told everyone to work with whoever they were with last time. Thankfully I just worked with someone who's last partner wasn't there. But this girl wanted to work with a specific guy because she liked him and refused to sit down until she did. He didn't care anyway. I don't think he liked her too much.
That crap used to happen to me all of the time in high school, some people are just ridiculous
Hey this guy forbade me from playing his Wii U. We're not even friends. People really don't mature in high school.
It may have been a meltdown not a temper tantrum. People with autism can struggle to deal with lateral thinking and if she saw the seat and decided that's where she was going to sit then you sitting there has thrown her brain into chaos - in such way it could be physically painful for her. My son does stuff like that - he can't help it. I'm hoping he manages to overcome it before he reaches adolescence though. It sucks to deal with but it sucks for them too.
There are probably a shit ton of millennials saying she deserved the seat solely because she was a girl" (millennials are radical feminists)
Chairing is caring.
I'm glad someone notices this.

Taking someone's seat is an affront to their humanity and should be punishable to the fullest extent of the law.
I had a girl once threaten to beat me up after I had taken a seat next to my boyfriend, simply because she decided that she wanted to sit there. I told her fat chance and to grow up. I could feel her eyes burning into me the whole lesson. It was all quite strange because she'd never shown any interest in him whatsoever before then. People are weird, but at least you didn't end up looking like an immature idiot OP :)
