Because you were easy to find, Veronica.
It's not that difficult to find information about your personal address online, OP. Be careful out there, especially when speaking to strangers.
911 whats your emergency?
White pages
If you clicked on any links, that was a mistake. There are some fake IP-grabbing links people can use to find your IP and track you down. Also, depending on what you were talking to such person with, there are some websites people can use to grab your IP, simply by putting in your username. I suggest getting a VPN or an IP changer. Good luck with your current situation OP.
Time to call a magical number known as 911.
That's... concerning. Yeah, you should definitely get the police involved. And hopefully you have family or friends you can stay with for the time being while law enforcement handles the issue, especially if you live alone. It's a scary situation for sure. Stay safe, OP.
As long as he has contact with u he can pull your IP address and that and that can tell home a lot of info about you
it's time for a restriction order...

These days with the internet people can find out almost anything by knowing the smallest thing about you. File a report with the police as soon as possible and place a restraining order on him if you know his name. Stay safe OP
Leave it to the cops :)
