Today, a guy I'd been seeing off and on for the past three years broke things off over a Facebook message. I replied, and told him that I was at least worth a phone call. He replied "Well, I'm sorry, I disagree." FML

lol. just lol. you so deserve it. on/off doesn't work. on or off usually means off. man up. stop holding on like a pathetic wretch.

@ Snick, I was hoping someone would work some of those in today. I laughed my ass off reading them at work this morning.

people can do a complete flip around in a matter of seconds. you dont know if he was the sweetest guy for 2 year and 1/2 and now all of a sudden hes behavior has changed, and shes just holding on thinking it will get better. snickerdoodles arent you like 14? i dont really think you should be commenting on relationship FML's.

on and off for 3 years usually means hes not a sweet heart..u shuld reread it #19 (not to b rude)

You being an annoying dumb ginger makes you unable to post intelligent comment on fml... It's always the same predictable semi-controversial judgmental crap sometimes sparkled with a hint of cultural references but always drowned in bitchiness. I don't think that is limited to to your age though, the douchbagfairy must be your neighbor..

then y your profile say your in college if your 16..u cant b in college at the age of 16

I feel the need to defend Snick against this... Actually you can be in college @16. Ever heard of running start? Also, it's very possible to be a few years ahead. Maybe she's got a high GPA and got skipped ahead a few years. Seriously peeps. As for not being old enough to comment on realationhip FML's. Most over 12 have more than likely been in some kind of relationship or have an idea of what Is and is not a healthy relationship just by being observant and having common sence.

#33: Or she homeschooled her way to graduation early. I ended up doing a year of it since we moved and it's awesome as far working on your own pace goes so it's very much common to graduate early. And Cali_girl? *sigh* I got a premature brain hemorrhage reading your posts. Kindly see yourself out. Kthanksbye.

@MQ - Your right. I completely forgot about homeschooling... So, yeah... Yet another way someone could be in college at 16. Thanks MQ ;)

Right, I'll admit this is probably irrelevent and get deleted, but I need to ask to save myself a little bit of confusion. In America does college always refer to university or have I misunderstood that entirely? Because when I've heard Americans refer to college they've always meant uni. But to me (being from the UK), college is the two years you do before university, which would make it entirely understandable how snickerdoodles is at that level at sixteen, she's just been skipped ahead a year (two at most). If say it's a reference to university then it is a little bit more unusual, because that's a three year skip.

To be in college/6th form snickerdoodles would be aged 16-18. So she wouldn't necessarily have skipped anything. Uni is normally 18+ (special cases excluded). Huge apologies for being a pedant.

(To the post before last) Thanks, I was just checking. :)

@totes_sucks - If you look at snickerdoodle's profile then you'd see her birthday is at the beginning of the school year, therefore she should turn 17 at the beginning of sixth form. Just a point. (I tried to add this to my last comment, but it complained about editing time being up or something, so I apologise to unintentional spamming)

Fair enough. Sorry, thought you were being specific to this case. My bad.

@Cinn: I know exactly what you mean as far uni./college goes. I used to live in Toronto before we moved out to the states and during uniiversity applications I kept hearing 'college' when really I was applying for 'university' as in a 4-year program. But turns out any post-secondary education system whether it's a 2-year program or 4, it's going to be called "college". Kinda' takes away from the glamour of the whole aspect of university, ahem. @ TempestJones: np! And #98: A win for that picture.

Maybe he thought you are the vomit nozzle that gave him the clap, if you are YDI.

snickerdoodles takes fmls way too seriously. haha, I guess when you're a bored, adolescent teenage girl there's really nothing else to do, but to be on the internet every two seconds to comment fmls... you know 'cause she doesn't want to be like one of those anti-social people who read or watch people on the comp, or tv, rather than accually living like one herself. :)

TempestJones 0

LOLs @ Jaime... It's funny cause your doing the same thing you claim she's doing... ROFL.... Haha... Calling yourself anti social basically... lols

Whoa, it is the middle of the night where she is, what would you like her to do? Streetwalk or Midnight Basketball? Pttttthhhh.

Jaime.. perhaps she has the FML APP, and so recieves push messages, as I do. Hmm, yes, doesn't that make more sense?

probably get some sleep. and posting 1 comment is not as bad as posting 20 comments on every FML story

In my general experience on/off tends to mean off, but it's on again if they get to get some, or their current source is out of town. I will admit this is not always true. But if it really was an on/off relationship it was never going to work - so be glad it's over now.

Usually on-again off-again is code for **** buddies when it's convenient but one wants it to be more... They don't work. He did you a favor.

i think my comment was to long :( i dont see it posted. fml.

Well, love is measured by loss.

Lie. Love is measured by love. Value of life lessons is measured by loss.
