Today, a guy's car broke down in my street, so I helped him push it into my driveway, checked his car out, and gave it a jump start. He thanked me, then as he went to pull out, he instead smashed straight into my car. FML

You know what they say, no good deed goes unpunished.

Wow that's stinks. The irony there is pretty great though. Hope the damages aren't too bad, OP.

I'm sure he didn't mean it, if you're not really looking its easy to put your car into drive instead of reverse. As long as you have insurance you should be ok.

Messing with my car is the one thing I will absolutely not take lightly, accident or not I will come at you like a spider monkey.

Hows that for a "Thank You"?

People never learn. No good deed goes unpunished. Motto to live by.

He wasnt necessarily punished. It just happened.

Sounds like something I might do. Then again, I'm a beginning driver. I guess good deeds never pay off the way you expect them to.

FYL? FHL! This guy is living like a g*dd*mn clown! He sounds like the poster child for Murphy's Law.

i believe he did not do it on purpose. but did he pay for the damage?
