Today, a very good friend of mine said he had a question to ask me. Jokingly, I threw my arms around his neck and said, "Oh yes, yes, a thousand times yes!" When I sat back down, I saw tears in his eyes, and he said, "You've made me the happiest man alive" as he pulled a small box out of his coat. FML

Today, my boyfriend got on one knee and started talking about how we met. Knowing what was coming, I started tearing up, absolutely sure he was going to propose. Just as I was about to say yes, he quickly stood up and yelled "HAH, JUST KIDDING". FML

if she says they were platonic friends then clearly there wasn't any yum yum happening between them. Kinda creepy he would jump from "lets got to a movie" to "marry me". It's understandable if he's in love with her, but maybe ask her on a date before you go shopping for a ring.
